Currently an on-call consultant to the AASHTO Committee on Materials and Pavements Technical Subcommittee on Pavement Design (TS 5d). As part of that effort, GGfGA led a Task Force that made updates to the AASHTO Guide to Pavement Design, Construction and Management, the updated version was published January 2026.
Prepared a synthesis of changes to Pavement ME Design software relating to the concrete pavement models for the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center. The Final Report can be found online.
Performed review of the MEPDG Guide for Local Calibration for Pavement Design, including recommendations on improvements. The Project Final Report can be found online.
Mentored students in the Georgia Tech Senior Design program in various areas including pedestrian and bicyclists safety, traditional and alternative intersection designs (R-CUTS, DLTs and roundabouts) and construction staging, including the 2025 Civil Capstone Winning Team.
Developed materials for and taught CEE 3000 (Civil Engineering Systems) and CEE 4600 (Transportation Planning and Design) at Georgia Tech. Incorporating KEEN philosophy in classroom teaching.

GGfGA is currently one of two SMEs supporting the AASHTO Unique, Patented, Proprietary Products (UP3) Council under the AASHTO Product Evaluation and Audits Program (formerly NTPEP), developing testing plans for new products used by local, state and federal transportation agencies.
GGfGA was the main PI for the National Cooperative Highway Research Program (NCHRP) Synthesis on State DOT Certification Programs for Sampling and Testing Personnel, NCHRP Synthesis Report 638.
