Currently an on-call consultant to the AASHTO Committee on Materials and Pavements Technical Subcommittee on Pavement Design (TS 5d). As part of that effort, led a Task Force that made updates to the AASHTO Pavement Design, Construction and Maintenance Handbook.
Prepared a synthesis of changes to Pavement ME Design software relating to the concrete pavement models for the National Concrete Pavement Technology Center. Mentored students in the Georgia Tech Senior Design program in various areas including pedestrian and bicyclists safety, traditional and alternative intersection designs (R-CUTS and roundabouts) and construction staging.
Developed materials for and taught CEE 3000 (Civil Engineering Systems) and CEE 4600 (Transportation Planning and Design) at Georgia Tech. Incorporating KEEN philosophy in classroom teaching.
Presented online workshops and webinars related to motorcycle safety and infrastructure.
Presented in a 2 day Pilot Class on Quality Assurance and acted as one of two SMEs to develop the workshop materials for NHI Class 131141, Quality Assurance for Highway Construction Projects.
